Robert William "Bob" Poole
MEBANE — Robert William "Bob" Poole , 75, of 132 Holly Ridge Lane, passed away Tuesday, May 2, 2006, at his residence. He was the husband of Dorothy "Dottie" Sherrill Poole , and the son of the late Czar and Alma Mullis Poole . Bob was a native of Stanly County, retired from Western Electric, a member of Riverside Baptist Church and served in the U.S. Navy.
Survivors include his wife Dottie of the home; daughters, Tina Poole of Burlington, Lisa Poole of Graham, Teresa Ann Scruggs of Raleigh; sons, Robert W. Poole Jr. and his wife, Lisa, of Caswell County, David Lynn Poole of Burlington, Wade Thomas Brooks Jr. of the home; a brother, Max Poole ; six grandchildren; and two greatgrandchildren.
There will be no service.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Humane Society of Alamance County, P.O. Box 3673, Burlington, N.C. 27215.
