Mrs. Willie Faye Long, 81, of Burlington, peacefully passed away surrounded by family on Wednesday, June 21, 2023 at her residence.
Mrs. Long was a retired Secretary/Bookkeeper and a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Burlington. She was the daughter of the late Willie Perman Long and Mabel Andrews Long. She dedicated her life to caring for others as well as her family.
Surviving are two daughters, Anne Harden Connolly and husband, Jeffrey of Burlington and Elizabeth Harden Ball of New Jersey; a son, John “Jay” L. Harden, Jr. of Burlington; a sister, Judy Pennington; and lovingly known as Mimi to her five grandchildren, Jessica Anne Ball, William Andrew Ball, Sarah Elizabeth Ball, Mason Elizabeth Connolly and Reynolds Long Connolly.
The family will have a private memorial service at a later date.
