GREENSBORO — Stella Williams Gaither, 90, of Garden Gate Apartments, died Wednesday, June 18, 2003, at Moses Cone Memorial Hospital.
A graveside service will be held at 12 p.m. Saturday, June 21, 2003, at Guilford Memorial Park.
Stella was preceded in death by her husband, Wilford Thurman Gaither Sr. and her grandson, Mark Lineberry.
She is survived by her daughters, Sue G. Lineberry and husband, Harold, of Greensboro, Linda G. Brown and husband, Larry, of Rock Hill, S.C., Vivian G. Parker and husband, Nat, of Concord, N.C., and Rita G. Stutts and husband, Norman, of Columbia, S.C.; son, W.T. Gaither Jr. and wife, Jeanie, of Burlington; sister, Allie Ree (Tump) Sloan of Harmony, N.C.; brothers, Owen Williams of Mooresville, N.C., Dwight Williams of La Belle, Fla., and Johnny Williams of Charlotte, N.C.; nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends at Hanes-Lineberry Sedgefield Chapel from 7 to 9 this evening. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hunter Hills Baptist Church, 1806 Merritt Drive, Greensboro, N.C. 27407.3
