Mrs. Margaret Ingold Willett
GIBSONVILLE — Mrs. Margaret Ingold Willett, 78, of Gibsonville, died at 8:15 p.m. Thursday, July 31, 2003, at Alamance Health Care Center after one year of declining health.
A native of Guilford County, she was the wife of the late Henry Vance Willett, and the daughter of the late Gurney Ingold and Elizabeth Hicks Ingold. She was formerly employed with Dixie Belle Textile Mill and was a former member of Mt. Hope United Church of Christ.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Judith W. Clapp and husband, Ferry, of Whitsett; three sons, Mr. Riley D. Willett and wife, Sue, of McLeansville, Mr. Vance K. Willett and wife, Susie, of Whitsett, and Mr. Ray Willett and wife, Diane, of Gibsonville; two sisters, Mrs. Ruby Bergman of Greensboro and Mrs. Rachael Wilson of Burlington; eight grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 3, 2003, at the Rich & Thompson Chapel in Burlington by the Rev. Larry Andrews. Burial will be in Alamance Memorial Park.
The family will be at the Rich & Thompson Mortuary in Burlington from 5 to 7 this evening, and at other times at the residence of Vance and Susie Willett, 1418 N.C. 61 South, Whitsett.
