August 25, 1941 ~ January 30, 2024 (age 82)
Lee Roy Deese, 82, of Graham passed away on Tuesday, January 30, 2024 at the AuthoraCare Hospice Home in Burlington.
A native of Monroe, North Carolina, he was the husband of the late Mary Jennings Deese and the son of the late Thurman Deese, Sr. and the late Dorothy Humphries Freshwater.
He was a veteran of the United States Navy, a retired barber and former owner and operator of “A Done Deal Auto Sales.”
He is survived by his daughter, Jennifer Leigh Ray; son, James “Jimmy” Deese; grandchildren, Cheyenne Ray, Evan Ray and Kristin Deese; great-granddaughter, Jordan Aytes; and brothers, Gary Deese and Tim Freshwater.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Troy Lee Deese and brothers, Thermon “Buddy” Deese, Jr. and Douglas Deese.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm on Sunday, February 4, 2024 at the Rich & Thompson Chapel in Graham. 261, Lee Roy Deese
