Lillie Cook Busick
BROWNS SUMMIT — Lillie Cook Busick, 93, formerly of 6665 High Rock Road, died Monday, Jan. 26, 2004, at White Oak Manor in Burlington.
The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 29, 2004, at Apple’s Chapel Christian Church. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Busick was born in Guilford County, to the late James Alfred Cook and Georgia Ann Huffines. She was a homemaker and a member of Apple’s Chapel Christian Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joyce Busick Sr.; sister, Leola Clapp; and brothers, Junie, Robert, and Edward Cook.
She is survived by her daughter, Regina Johnson of Browns Summit; sons, Glenn Busick and wife, Betty, of Gibsonville, James Busick and Joyce Busick Jr. and wife, Shirley; sister, Beulah Chrismon, all of Browns Summit; nine grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
The family will receive friends at Apple’s Chapel Christian Church from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. today, and at other times at the residence of Glenn and Betty Busick, 7998 Troxler Mill Road, Gibsonville.
Memorial contributions may be made to Apple’s Chapel Christian Church, 7345 N.C. 61 North, Gibsonville, N.C. 27249.
Wilkerson Funeral Home in Reidsville is in charge of arrangements.
