Brown Summit – Matthew Lee Tuck, 35, passed away unexpectedly from a vehicle accident on Sunday, February 19, 2023. 

He was born in Alamance County on September 28, 1987 to the late Tony Lee Tuck and Brenda Hensley Hudson who survives.

   Matthew, known by most as “Matt”, was a hard worker with a strong work ethic and enjoyed the outdoors, operating heavy machinery, landscaping and fishing.  Most of all he enjoyed time with his sons, teaching them to fish, ride four wheelers and how to handle a zero-turn mower. He was of the Baptist faith.

   Matthew is survived by his sons, Tyler Lee Tuck, Connor Matthew Tuck; mother, Brenda H. Hudson and stepdad, Ronald M. Hudson; sister, Amanda Kelly Bonfanti (Louis); aunts, Elizabeth Roney (Charles), Tina Fox (Bynum); cousins, Branden Roney, Zachary Roney, Brandon Norris and his best friend, Ronnie Eastwood. 

He was preceded in death by his father, Tony L. Tuck; paternal grandparents, Bobby & Dorothy Overman and maternal grandparents, Nora and Leroy Hensley.

   A service to celebrate Matthew’s life will be at 11:00am on Friday, February 24, 2023 at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Pastor Cliff Wilson with the burial to follow at Alamance Memorial Park.  The family will receive friends from 6-8pm on Thursday at the funeral home and other times at Brenda’s home at 1321 Parker St. in Burlington.
