Tony Lee Tuck
BURLINGTON — Tony Lee Tuck , 48, of 802 North Ave., went home to be with Jesus Monday, August 2, 2004 at 1:44 p.m. at Alamance Regional Medical Center after 14 years of failing health and a critical illness of 11 days. He was born in Alamance County to the late John H. Tuck and Dorothy Hill Overman who survives. He was the husband to Brenda Hensley Tuck of 27 years who survives.
Mr. Tuck was a former employee with GKN and a former truck driver with Biscuitville. He was a member of Glen Hope Baptist Church and was in the Believers Sunday school class.
Survivors other than his wife of the home and his mother of Burlington include a daughter, Amanda Kelly Tuck of the home; son, Matthew Lee Tuck of the home; sister, Tina Norris and her husband, Keith, of Burlington; stepsister, Marilyn Atkins and her husband, Larry, of Danville, Va; grandmother, Elizabeth Hill of Burlington; father-in-law, Leroy Hensley of Burlington; and sisterin-law, Elizabeth Roney and her husband, Chuck, of Burlington. He was preceded in death by his father; stepfather, Bobby H. Overman; stepbrother, Ricky Overman; and mother-in-law, Nora Brown Hensley.
The funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at Glen Hope Baptist Church by the Rev. Fred Treadwell, and the Rev. Tommy Richardson. Burial will follow in Alamance Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 tonight at Lowe Funeral Home and Crematory, and other times at the home.
