Selma Kimbro Enoch 


    BURLINGTON — Selma Kimbro Enoch , age 87, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, Dec. 29, 2006, at Alamance Health Care. She was a native of Caswell County and the wife of the late Charlie Ross Enoch .
    Selma  was a homemaker and a member of Glen Hope Baptist Church. She was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother.
    Survivors include her sons and daughters-in-law, Gene Enoch  and his wife, Vicki of Burlington and Jerry W. Enoch  and his wife, Wanda of New Bern; grandchildren, Michele Champion, Paula Wallace, Lori Dorminy, Shea McNabb, Michael Enoch , Brad Enoch  and Sybrina Turney; 16 greatgrandchildren and two greatgreat-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband; parents, Charlie Empson and Lillian Rudd Kimbro ; five brothers and five sisters.
    The funeral service will be held on Monday, Jan. 1, 2007, at 2 p.m. at the Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Dr. Donald R. Carter. Burial will follow at Alamance Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 3 to 5 p.m. this afternoon at the funeral home and other times at the home of Gene Enoch , 604 Trail Two, Burlington, N.C. 27215.
    Memorials may be made to the donor’s favorite charity.
