Jerry Wayne Enoch
NEW BERN — Jerry Wayne Enoch, 69, passed away Thursday, Dec. 3, 2015, at his home following a lengthy illness.
A native of Norfolk, VA, he was born Nov. 6, 1946 to the late Charlie Ross and Selma Kimbro Enoch and leaves behind his soul mate of 23 years, Wanda Davis, of the home.
Jerry attended Mt. Zion Christian Church and served in the U.S. National Guard.
He is survived by his soul mate, Wanda Davis; sons, Michael Enoch (Kelly) of Burlington and Brad Enoch (Keli) of Carbondale, Ill. ; daughter, Sybrina Turney (Shane) of New Bern; grandchildren, Lex, Meghan, Madelyn, Kyle, Weston, Caden, Savannah, Lilah, Zoey, Chase, Ricky, Dustin and Brandie; and a brother, Gene Enoch (Vicki) of Burlington.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
A service to celebrate his life will be conducted at 3 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 6, 2015, in the Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. Rick Webster.
The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home and at other times at the brother’s home.
