The Rev. Max William Rich

 
 The Rev. Max William Rich, 81, of Timber Trail, Burlington, NC, passed away on Monday September 7, 2015 at his residence with his family by his side.
 
 He was the son of the late Phillip Monroe Rich and Margaret Allred Rich. Rev. Rich was the founder of Kimesville Road Baptist Church as well as Guiding Light Baptist Church in Elon.
 
 He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Jo Ann Johnson Rich, of the home; daughters, Vickie Wheeley, Susan Jones and husband Darrel, Yvonne Randleman and husband Terry, and Beth Maness and husband Buddy; son, Steve Rich and wife Kim; 13 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
 
 In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a grandson, Presley Small.
 
 A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday September 9, 2015 at the Tabernacle Baptist Church in Graham with the Rev. Norman Fargis, Rev. Robbie Lowe, and the Rev. Howard
 
Spray officiating. Burial will follow in Bellemont UMC Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:30 until 2:00 prior to the service on Wednesday at Tabernacle Baptist Church, and other times at the residence of the family. Mc-Clure Funeral and Cremation Service in Graham are assisting the family.
