YANCEYVILLE — Christopher Levi Rudd, 75, formerly of Yanceyville passed away Thursday, April 9, 2015, at Alamance Health Care Center in Burlington after a period of declining health.
He was born in Caswell County October 21, 1939, to Columbus Rudd and Nellie Smith Rudd. He was Caswell County high school graduate, and had worked as a supervisor in textiles. He was a former member of the Lions Club, and was of the Primitive Baptist faith.
Funeral services will be Saturday, April 11, 2015, at 11 a.m. at Harrelson Funeral Service Chapel. Interment will be at Bush Arbor Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.
Survivors are one daughter Karen R. Chandler, two sons Gary Rudd and Timothy Rudd, two brothers Kenneth Rudd (Patricia) and Danny Rudd (Terry), a sister Vicky Oakley ( Marion) and several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
In addition to his parents he was predeceased by a brother James Rudd.
The family would like to thank the staff of Alamance Health Care Center for the loving care that was extended to him.
Visitation will be Saturday 10-11 a.m. at the funeral home, and condolences may be offered at www.harrelsonfs.com.
