 BURLINGTON — Mr. Robert David Dameron Jr., 87, of 2122 Wiggins Street, Burlington died at the V. A. Medical Center in Durham on Monday, March 23, 2015, at 12:30 p.m.
 
 A native of Wilson, NC, he was the husband of the late Barbara Grace Dameron and the son of Robert David Dameron Sr. and Lillie Collier Dameron, both deceased. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army serving during the Korean Conflict and was a two-time recipient of The Purple Heart. He was owner and operator of Mary Moppets Daycare Center.
 
 Survivors include a daughter, Sylvia Clay and husband John of Port Charlotte, FL; sister, Bonnie D. Henry and husband Jim of Burlington; and two brothers, Warren Douglas Dameron of Umatilla, FL and Ronald C. Dameron of Burlington.
 
 A graveside service will be conducted at Pine Hill Cemetery
 
on Thursday, March 26, 2015, at 11 a.m. by Dr. Russell Morris.
 
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care of Alamance-Caswell, 914 Chapel Hill Road, Burlington, NC 27215.
