REIDSVILLE - Mr. Arnold Jeffrey “Jeff” Rudd, 61, of Reidsville, NC, passed away on Tuesday, July 4, 2017 receiving the highest honor of helping build the mansions in Heaven and of course he wanted to do it by himself and requested to live on the outskirts of Heaven.
A native of Caswell Co.NC, he was the son of the late Thomas J. and Esther Apple Rudd. He was of the Primitive Baptist Faith and was known for always lending a helping hand in those in need, always putting others above himself.
His joy and love was his family especially when it came to his grandson.
Survivors include his other half, Linda Hemphill, of the Home, son, Jason Harold Rudd Rainey and numerous grandchildren; grandson, Skylar Knight Clemmons; sisters, Hazel Jefferson (William), Patricia Norris, Anita Walker, Melody Jenkins (Fred), Belinda Jones, Estherene Wilson (Buster); brothers, Arthur Rudd (Brenda) and Ricky Rudd; sister in law-Joyce S. Rudd, and many loving nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Sonya Rudd and brothers, Harold D. Rudd and Billy L. Rudd.
A memorial service will be held at 5 p.m. on Friday, July 7, 2017 at the McClure Funeral Home Chapel in Graham with the Pastor Garry Loftis and Mr. David Dodson officiating.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home on Friday and other times at the residence of the family.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Hospice of Alamance/Caswell at 918 Chapel Hill Rd. Burlington, NC 27215.
