Esther Apple Rudd
BURLINGTON — Ms. Esther Apple Rudd died December 6, 2010 at White Oak Manor.
She had a love for flowers and was a member of Bush Arbor Primitive Baptist Church.
She is survived by her daughters, Mrs. Patricia Norris of Elon, Mrs. Hazel Jefferson, Ms. Anita Walker and Mrs. Estherene Wilson, all of Reidsville, Ms. Belinda Jones of Graham, and Mrs. Melody Jenkins of Mebane; sons, Arthur Rudd of Graham, Harold Rudd of Burlington, Jeffrey Rudd of Reidsville, and Ricky Rudd of Graham; sisters, Mrs. Corina Graham and Mrs. Juanita Brummit; 28 grandchildren; several greatgrandchildren; and several great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Jefferson Rudd; son, Billy Lee Rudd; daughter, Sonya Karen Rudd; granddaughter, Angela Dawn Rudd; sisters Mrs. Florence Stradler, Mrs. Estelle Oliver ; and brothers, Robert Lee Apple and Bud Apple.
The family will receive friends from 5 until 7 p.m. on Wednesday,

8, 2010 at McClure Funeral Home in Graham and at other times at the home of her son, Harold Rudd, in Burlington.
The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, December 9, 2010 at the McClure Funeral Chapel in Graham with Elder Ray King officiating.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, P.O. Box 96011, Washington, D.C. 20090-6011.
