Allene Massey Murray
October 8, 1924 ~ January 25, 2020 (age 95)
Allene M. Murray, 95, of Burlington passed away on Saturday, January 25, 2020 at Alamance Regional Medical Center.
A native of Caswell County, she was the wife of the late Clinie W. Murray and the daughter of the late Elmo F. Massey and the late Ollie Jane Massey. She was a homemaker and member of Riverside Baptist Church.
Survivors include her daughters, Marianna K. Wright (Robert) and Kathy M. Boggs (Gene); sister, Bertha Mae Fisher; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by three sons, Tommy Murray, Roger Murray and Jimmy Murray.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 am – 11:00 am on Tuesday, January 28, 2020 at the Rich & Thompson Mortuary in Burlington followed by her Funeral Service at 11:00 am in the Rich & Thompson Chapel. The committal service will be held immediately following the funeral service at McCray Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.
At other times, the family will receive friends at the home of her daughter, Kathy M. Boggs. 3, Allene Massey Murray
