Thomas William Murray Sr.
MEBANE — Mr. Thomas William Murray Sr., 60, of 2825 Jones Drive, Mebane, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Monday, February 4, 2008.
A native of Alamance County, he was the son of the late Clinie William Murray and Allene Massey Murray , who survives. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving in Vietnam.
In addition to his mother of Mebane, survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Lisa Warren and husband, Joe, of Mebane, Tamara Murray and fiancé, Rob Warren, of Burlington, and Mrs. Bonnie Lee Ricks and husband, Randy, of Jacksonville, Fla.; one son, Mr. Thomas William Murray Jr. and wife, Tammy, of Mebane; his wife, Mrs. Diane Jones Murray of Mebane; two sisters, Mrs. Marianna Wright of Gibsonville and Mrs. Kathy Boggs of Mebane; and five grandchildren, Thorne, Lance, Mason, Paige and Cory.
The funeral service will be conducted at the Rich & Thompson Chapel in Graham on Wednesday, February 6, 2008 at 2 p.m. by the Rev. Howard Thompson. Burial will follow in McCray Primitive Baptist Church cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the Rich & Thompson Funeral Home and Crematory in Graham on Tuesday from 6 until 8 p.m., and at other times they will be at the residence.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Thomas William Murray Sr. Memorial Account, c/o the State Employees Credit Union.
