Howard King
GREENSBORO — Howard King, age 67, of Clapp Farms Road went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, March 17, 2010 at Golden Living Center. He was born in Guilford County to the late Etheliard Benjamin King and Maude Matkins King and was married to the late Aezelia Mann King. He was a loving and devoted husband, father and “Paw-Paw”
Survivors include his son, Howard T. King of Graham; daughters and sons-in-law, Cindy and Keith Clapp of Greensboro and Candy and Anthony Gilgis of Vass; grandchildren, Jordan King, Christopher Gilgis, Matthew Clapp and McKenzie Clapp; nephew, Rodney King and his wife, Diane of Stoney Creek. He was preceded in death by his wife and parents.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, March 20, 2010 at 2 p.m. at the Gibsonville City Cemetery by Gordon Phillips.Thefamilywillreceive friends from 5 until 7 p.m. on Friday at Lowe Funeral Home and Crematory at other times at the home of his daughter, Cindy Clapp, 328 Clapp Farms Road, Greensboro.
Memorials may be made to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, 211 Meadowview Road, Greensboro, N.C. 27407.
