Harvey Richard Mann
   GIBSONVILLE — Harvey Richard Mann, 75, of 6102 Bellflower Road, passed away Friday, July 9, 2010, at his home after a two-day illness. He was married to Carmel Gentile Mann and he was born January 18, 1935, in Guilford County to the late Ernest Samuel and Leola Hancock Mann. Harvey was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force, worked and retired from Pepsi Cola Bottling in Greensboro and was a member of Harvest Baptist Church. He enjoyed all types of sports, especially fishing, and was a die hard Tar Heel fan. Harvey enjoyed life and lived it to the fullest.

   Survivors include his wife of the home, a daughter, Terri (Greg) Holbrooks, of Mooresville; a son, Scott (Suzanne) Mann, of High Point; grandchildren, Joshua Holbrooks, Christina Holbrooks and Rachel Mann; and a brother, Thomas Mann, of Burlington.

   He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, JeffreyW. Mann; a sister Aezelia M. King; and brothers H. W. Mann and Ronald Mann.

   The funeral will be held 10:00 a.m. Tuesday at Harvest Baptist Church by the Rev. Larry Lamberth. Interment will follow in Gibsonville City Cemetery.

   The family will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Lowe Funeral Home and at other times at the home.
