Elon-Frances Page Gerringer, 93 went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, September 25, 2024 at her home surrounded by her family.

She grew up in the Camp Springs Community of Caswell County. She was the wife of 66 years to the late Hulon Presley Gerringer.

She was the daughter of the late William Burch and Effie Matilda Allred Page.

 Frances was a homemaker and a member of Shiloh Community Church and the Methodist Women. She was a talented cake baker and enjoyed making cakes for special occasions. Frances was an active supporter of the Alamance Burlington Senior Games with her husband, Hulon. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Her sweet smile will be missed by all that knew her.

 Survivors include her son, Rance H. Gerringer of Burlington; daughters, Cheryl G. Starr of Elon and Lisa G. Jones and husband Brian of Burlington; grandchildren, Kevin (Jacque) Gerringer, Ashley Gerringer, Amy S. (Tyrone) Crisp, Kimberly (Chris) Dameron, Brandon (Katherine) Jones and Mitchell (Erin) Jones; great grandchildren, Vada, Zora, Sawyer, Alybeth, Kailyn, Kelsey, Charlotte and Frances; brother, Willie Page of Burlington.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, sister, Evelyn Brown and a daughter-in-law, Darlene Gerringer.

 Special thanks to caregivers and Hospice workers, Kathleen, Diane, Barbara, Jan, Kathy, Donna, Ruby, April, Amy, Tina and Lori.

 A service to celebrate her life will be held on Sunday, September 29, 2024 at 2:00PM at Shiloh Community Church by Rev. Mac McDowell and burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends following the service in the church fellowship hall and at other times at the home.
