OBITUARIES Ruth Jones Wagoner 
    ELON — Ruth Jones Wagoner , 89, of 3871 Stoney Creek Church Road, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, December 16, 2004. She was a native of Alamance County, and the daughter of the late Joseph Yancey and Ada Patterson Jones.
    Ruth  worked for many years at Faith Book and Music Center. She was a member of Shiloh United Methodist Church and a lifetime member of The Women’s Society. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
    Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Loretta and Claude Harrison of Raleigh, N.C.; and a son, Jerry and Anne Wagoner  of Elon, N.C.; grandchildren, Gary (Debbie) Harrison, Lynne (Dana) McKenzie, Michelle Burns, Teresa Wagoner  and Kim Johnson; great-grandchildren, Brandy Harrison and Nora Grace McKenzie; sister, Evelyn McAllister of Mebane. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Carney Alfred Wagoner ; five sisters; and four brothers.
    The funeral service will be held on Sunday, December 19, 2004 at 2:00 p.m. at Shiloh United Methodist Church by the Rev. Ronnie Richard Dawson, and assisted by the Rev. Dave Gilbert, and the Rev. James Rosser. The committal service will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 this evening at Lowe Funeral Home and Crematory, and at other times the family will be at the home.
