ELON — Jerry A. Wagoner , 63, of 4346 Altamahaw Race Track Road, died on Wednesday, November 16, 2005 at UNC Hospitals after a brief illness. He was born in Alamance County, son of the late Carney Alfred and Ruth Jones Wagoner , and was married to Anne Kapp Wagoner , who survives.
Jerry retired from Ball Corporation in Reidsville, and was a member of the Sweet Gum Hunting Club.
He is survived by his wife of the home; daughters and sonin-law, Michelle and Fred Barringer of Gibsonville and Teresa Wagoner , Kimberly Wagoner , and Wendy Doyle, all of Elon; and a sister and brother-in-law, Loretta and Claude Harrison of Raleigh.
The funeral will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, November 19, 2005, at Bethlehem Christian Church by the Rev. Dave Gilbert. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Lowe Funeral Home and Crematory, and other times at the home.
Memorials may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care Center of Alamance-Caswell, 914 Chapel Hill Road, Burlington, N.C. 27215.
