Mrs. Laura "Peggy" Boggs Farrell, 85, of Graham, died Monday, July 9, 2012, at the Hospice Home of Burlington after several years of declining health.
A native of Alamance County, she was the wife of Glenn W. Farrell, who survives, and the daughter of William Goley Boggs and Pauline Lashley Edwards, both deceased.
She was retired from Kayser Roth and was the co-owner of Farrell's Food Mart in Holden Beach.
Mrs. Farrell was a member of Riverside Baptist Church in Graham.
In addition to her husband, survivors include one daughter, Cynthia Rich and husband Robert of Haw River; two sons, Phillip G. Farrell and wife Debbie of Mebane, and Gene W. Farrell and wife Patricia of Graham; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by two brothers, Norman G. Boggs and A.D. Boggs.
The Rev. Bob Stephenson and the Rev. Curtis Oakley will officiate. Burial will follow in Graham Memorial Park. 470, Laura Plante “Peggy” Boggs Farrell
