Robert Wyrick
Robert Eugene Wyrick, 88, of 1415 17th St., Greensboro, died Saturday at his residence after several years of declining health.
A native of Randolph County, he was the son of Jacob R. and Mary Brooks Wyrick.
He was a retired Cone Mills employe and a member of the Eller Memorial Baptist Church.
Surviving are: two sons, Odell Wyrick, of Burlington and Robert E. Wyrick of Greensboro; five daughters, Miss Gladys Wyrick, Mrs. Mary Murphy, Mrs. Myrtle Haithcock and Mrs. Jacqueline Robinson, all of Greensboro and Mrs. Peggy Murphy of Elon College; four brothers, Silas Wyrick, Claude Wyrick, Howard Wyrick and Will Wyrick, all of Greensboro; 28 grandchildren, 49 great-grandchildren and two great-great
grandchildren.
Final rites will be at 4 p.m. Monday at the Lambeth-Troxler Funeral Home in Greensboro by the Rev. James E. McNelly, Jr., the Rev. Daniel Duncan and the Rev. Oscar Whitescarver.
Burial will be in Lakeview Memorial Park.
The family will recieve friends from 7 until 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
