GREENSBORO — Mr. Jesse K. "JK" Robinson, 84, passed away Friday, October 3, 2008, at his home.
Graveside services with military honors will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, October 6, at Guilford Memorial Park, by his son, Rev. David Robinson.
Jesse was born March 17, 1924, in Guilford County, to Carl and Buelah Leach Robinson. He was a self-employed appliance repairman and was a U.S. Navy World War II veteran, serving aboard the USS Weber DE-675.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 64 years, Jacqueline W. Robinson, and a daughter, Cindy Trollinger.
Survivors include his daughter, Kay Martin and husband, Bobby; three sons, Rev. David Robinson and wife, Glenda, Bobby Robinson and Steve Robinson and wife, Gloria.
Jesse was a wonderful husband, father, grandpa, pawpaw and uncle. We will all miss his great wisdom and guidance.
