Eveline McIntyre  Robertson


    BURLINGTON — Mrs. Eveline McIntyre  Robertson, 93, of 2810 Hickory Hill Road, Burlington, died at Beverly Healthcare, Starmount Division, Greensboro on Friday, May 18, 2007 following several months declining health.
    A native of Little Washington, she was the wife of 64 years to Roy E. Robertson, who survives, and the daughter of William Ed McIntyre  and Bertie Wagner McIntyre , both deceased. She retired from the textile industry. She was a member of Beverly Hills United Church of Christ.
    In addition to the husband, survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Joan Bowman and husband, Alton, of Graham; one son, Mr. Morris E. Robertson and wife, Joyce, of Graham; one sister, Mrs. Alma Hooper and husband, Woodrow, of Burlington; and three grandchildren, Michael L. Bowman and wife, Shari, Victoria B. Whitlow and husband, Stan, and Kevin C. Robertson; three great-grandchildren, Jason L. Black and wife, Ginger, Sarah B. Blessington and husband, Stephen, and Rebecca Lynn Bowman; and two greatgreat-grandchildren, Carter Andrew Black and Sidney Logan Black.
    She was preceded in death by two half brothers, Joe McIntyre  and Carl R. McIntyre ; one half sister, Kathleen McIntyre  Barbee; and one great-greatgranddaughter, Andi Logan Black.
    A memorial service will be conducted at the Rich & Thompson Chapel in Graham on Sunday, May 20, 2007 at 2 p.m. by the Rev. Rosser Clapp.
    The family will receive friends at the Rich & Thompson Funeral Home in Graham on Sunday from 1 until 2 p.m.
