Roy Eugene Robertson 


    BURLINGTON — Mr. Roy Eugene Robertson , 92, of 2810 Hickory Hill Road, Burlington, died at Alamance Regional Medical Center on Saturday, December 22, 2007 at 3:40 p.m.
    A native of Guilford County, he was the husband of the late Eveline McIntyre Robertson  and the son of George Bryant Robertson  and Myrtle Irene Shatterly Robertson , both deceased. He was a U.S. Army veteran serving during World War II. He retired from the textile industry. He was a member of Beverly Hills United Church of Christ.
    Survivors include a daughter, Joan Bowman and husband, Alton, of Graham; a son, Morris E. Robertson  and wife, Joyce, of Graham; a sister, Anna Hucks of Elon; a special caregiver, Anne Brewer; three grandchildren, Victoria B. Whitlow and husband, Stan, Michael L. Bowman and wife, Shari, and Kevin C. Robertson ; great-grandchildren, Jason Black and wife, Ginger, Sarah Blessington and husband, Stephen, and Rebecca Bowman; and two great-greatgrandchildren, Carter Andrew Black and Sidney Logan Black.
    He was preceded in death by three sisters, Mildred Robertson , Helen Aldridge, and Lucille Riley; two brothers, Lester "Dub" Robertson  and Urel Robertson ; and one greatgreat-granddaughter, Andi Logan Black.
    A memorial service will be conducted at the Rich & Thompson Chapel in Graham on Saturday, December 29, 2007 at 2 p.m. by the Rev. Rosser Clapp.
    The family will receive friends at the Rich & Thompson Funeral Home in Graham on Saturday from 1 until 2 p.m.
