BURLINGTON - Janet Rich Linens, 87, of Burlington passed away at the Hospice Home on Monday, December 13, 2021.
A native of Alamance County, she was the wife of the late Thomas Howard Linens and the daughter of the late W. A. Rich and the late Margaret Keck Rich. She was a retired teacher assistant at E. M. Holt Elementary School and was formerly employed at Kayser-Roth Hosiery, Inc. She was also a very active member at Low’s Lutheran Church.
Survivors include sons, Chip Linens and Rich Linens and his wife Janina; grandchildren, Hatchel Linens, Lily Linens and Spencer Linens; and sisters, Bernice Sharpe and Frances Beeker.
For those wishing to pay their respects, her body will lie in state from 1:00 pm until 4:00 pm on Thursday, December 16, 2021 at the Rich & Thompson Mortuary in Burlington.
Her funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, December 17, 2021 at Low’s Lutheran Church.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Low’s Lutheran Church, 2136 NC 61, Liberty, NC 27298 or to AuthoraCare Hospice, 914 Chapel Hill Road, Burlington, NC 27215.
