Leona Page Aldridge
BURLINGTON — Mrs. Leona Page Aldridge, 81, passed away at her residence at 7:15 a.m., Sunday, March 1, 2015.
A native of Caswell County, she was the wife of the late Richard Page Aldridge and daughter of the late Oakus Franklin Page and Betty Sue Somers Page. Mrs. Aldridge was a cosmetologist and instructor at Piedmont Community College and a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Caswell Ward and a member of the Relief Society at the church.
Surviving are three daughters, Deanna Ouzts (Kevin) of Burlington, Denise Lewis (Robert) of Gibsonville and Dedra Malcolm (Darrell) of Burlington; one son, Anthony Aldridge (Elena) of Burlington; 13 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; a sister, Barbara Saunders (Robert) of Reidsville; and a sister-in-law, Mary Ann Page of Reidsville.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Walter Page; and a sister, Venona Page.
The service will be held at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Caswell Ward, at 2 p.m., Saturday, March 7, with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the church, 1401 Rascoe Dameron Road, Burlington, N.C. 27217, from 6 to 8 Friday evening.
