May 17, 1955 ~ April 18, 2020 (age 64)
Burlington – H. Lee Tate, Jr., 64, passed away on April 18, 2020 at Alamance Regional Medical Center following a brief illness. A native of Caswell County, he was born to the late Harvey Lee Tate, Sr. and Iris Sawyer Tate.
Lee was a policeman and criminal justice instructor at Piedmont Community College and owned Southern Caswell Auctioneers.
He is survived by his daughter, Jerrith C. Tate; grandson, Lucas Lee Tate and a sister, Karen Tate Gray (Will)
A memorial service to celebrate his life will be held at a later date. Lowe Funeral Home and Crematory is serving the Tate family.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Anderson Township Volunteer Fire Department, 225 Baynes Rd, Burlington, NC 27217.
