BURLINGTON — Helen “Sully” Sullivan Fulk, 85, died on Monday, Jan. 28, 2013.
Sully was born in Alexandria, Ind., to Richard and Dorothy Sullivan, and moved to North Carolina shortly after being married.
She settled in Burlington in 1958. She was a graduate of Michael Reese School of Nursing in Chicago, and received her Registered Nurse degree in 1947.
Survivors include daughters, Candace (Terry) Griswold, Kimberly (G.W.) Mann-Matkins, Kathryn (Brant) Nix, Karen (Tommy) Overbey; grandchildren, Jake (Lauren) Mann, Josh (fiancé Bishop) Mann, Jeremy (Jessica) Mann, Jonathan Mann, Lee Griswold, Kari and Kurtis Overbey, Jeff (Amanda) Lucas; and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, sister Connie Ervin, and husband of 55 years, Worth.
The family will receive friends and relatives at the family home of the deceased in a Celebration of Life on Saturday, Feb. 2, 2013 from 1 to 5 p.m. 3, Helen Sullivan Fulk
