Burlington-Linda Darlean Pitts Johnson, 72 passed away on Sunday, May 24, 2020 at Alamance Health Care. She was born in Alamance County to the late Benjamin Guthrie Pitts, Sr. and Irene Coleman Pitts.
Linda was employed for several years with Kayser-Roth Hosiery. Her and her daughter, Jennifer started Carolina Hangups Embroidery in 1996. Jennifer still owns and operates the business. Linda enjoyed knitting and crocheting and was an excellent seamstress making prom dresses and bridal gowns.
She is survived by her daughters, Jennifer Johnson and Jackie Phillips; four grandchildren, Dillion Phillips, Merinda (Matthew) Hollyfield, Kelsey Justice and Sage Gurley; one great grandchild, Brentley and a sister, Barbara (David) Baulding. She was preceded in death by one brother; Ben Pitts Jr.
A memorial service to celebrate her life will be held at a later date for family and friends.
