Hickory – Molly Holland Simpson, 93, of Hickory, NC, passed away Wednesday, August 28, 2024, at Terrabella Nursing Center in Newton, NC.
A native of Guilford County, NC, she was wife of the late William Tate Simpson, Sr. and daughter of the late Bo Holland and Winifred Cobb Holland. Mrs. Simpson was a homemaker.
Surviving are a daughter, Holly Cole of Hickory; three sons, Allan Brent Simpson of Burlington, William Tate Simpson, Jr. of St. Simons, GA and James Scott Simpson of Florida.
A private graveside service will be held at Pine Hill Cemetery with Rev. Don Pegg officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Caroling Caring, 3975 Robinson Rd., Suite B, Newton, NC 28658; or to Tunnel to Towers, 2361 Hylan Blvd., Staten Island, NY 10306; or to Habitat for Humanity of Alamance County, 1176 N. Church St., Burlington, NC 27217. 261
