    BURLINGTON — Mrs. Esther  Kathryn Rosson Madren , 90, of White Oak Manor, died at 3:50 p.m. Tuesday, March 15, 2005.

Mrs. Esther Rosson Madren 
    BURLINGTON — Mrs. Esther Rosson Madren , 90, of White Oak Manor, 323 Baldwin Road, formerly of Midway Church Road in Elon, died at 3:50 p.m. Tuesday, March 15, 2005, at White Oak Manor.
    A native of Guilford County, she was the wife of the late Ralph W. Madren , and the daughter of the late Wiley A. Rosson  and Sallie Apple Rosson . She was a member of Gibsonville Christian Church.
    Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Betty N. Simpson of Burlington; a son-in-law, Mr. John G. Simpson of Burlington; three grandsons, Mr. James M. Simpson of Greensboro, and Mr. Gerald Madren  and Mr. Darrell Madren , both of Mebane; and a granddaughter, Miss Kathryn Madren  of High Point.
    She was preceded in death by a son, Mr. Jerry Madren .
    The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday, March 18, 2005, at the Rich & Thompson Chapel in Burlington by the Rev. Alan Kent. Burial will be in Bethlehem Christian Church cemetery.
    The family will be at the Rich & Thompson Mortuary in Burlington from 6 to 8 this evening, and at other times at the residence of the daughter and son-in-law, John and Betty Simpson, 4145 N.C. 49 North, Burlington.
    Memorials may be made to Gibsonville Christian Church, 325 Burke St., Gibsonville, N.C. 27249.
