    SNOW CAMP — Don  T. Wilson , 71, of 7026-F N.C. 49 South, died Saturday, April 30, 2005.
    Survivors include his wife, Peggie Hedrick Wilson  of the home, and daughters, Teena Faucette of Snow Camp and Angie Payne of Burlington.

Don  T. Wilson 
    SNOW CAMP— Don  T. Wilson , 71, of 7026-F. NC 49 S., slipped peacefully away at home surrounded by his family on Saturday, April 30, 2005.
    A native of Lexington, NC he was the son of the late George Wilson  and the late Beulah Tetter Wilson  and was married to Mrs. Peggie Hedrick Wilson , who survives. He graduated from Linwood High School in Lexington and attended NC State University for training in textiles. After finishing school he worked for Kayser Roth and later he helped open mills in Kinston, NC and Cheraw, SC. He retired from Macfield Texturing and Interstate Concrete. Don  was a member of Rock Creek United Methodist Church, where he was a lay leader, past teacher of the Young Adult Class, and coach of the men’s softball team during the 1970’s. He loved farming, his cows and feeding wild Canadian Geese that lived on his farm.
    Mr. Wilson  is survived by his wife of the home; two daughters Teena Faucette and her husband, Steve, of Snow Camp and Angie Payne and her husband, Jimmy, of Snow Camp; four grandchildren, Steven Faucette, Brandon Faucette, J.D. Payne, and Jessica Payne; two brothers, Charles Wilson  and his wife, Hilda, of Spanish Fork, UT and Bill Wilson  and his wife, Nancy, of Lexington; special friends, Ashley Mansfield and Amanda Braun; and his family pets, Shady, Bandit, and Sammy who comforted him during his last years. He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Louise Fisher and Sarah Rogers; and a brother, Herbert Wilson .
    The funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 PM Tuesday, May 3, 2005 at Rock Creek United Methodist Church by the Rev. Carson Wiggins. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7-9 this evening at Lowe Funeral Home and Crematory and other times at the home of his daughter, Teena, 7026-A. NC 49 S., Snow Camp.
    Memorials may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care of Alamance-Caswell, 914 Chapel-Hill Rd., Burlington, NC 27215.

Don  and Peggy Wilson 
    Don  and Peggy Wilson  of N.C. 49 South, Snow Camp, were honored with a dinner March 27, 2004, at the home of their son-in-law and daughter, Steve and Teena Faucette of Snow Camp, in celebration of their golden wedding anniversary. Co-hosts were Jimmy and Angie Payne of Burlington, also their son-in-law and daughter.
    Spring flowers were used as decorations.
    The Wilsons were married March 27, 1954, in Lexington, and they have two children and four grandchildren. 27, Don and Peggy Wilson
