Bettye Jo “Mabe” Montgomery
PROSPECT HILL, N.C. — Bettye Jo“Mabe” Montgomery died August 18, 2010 at Duke University Medical Center.
She was retired from GKN.
Survivors include her daughter, Stefanie Mabe Kimbro and husband Jason; son, Rodney Long; brother, Kenneth Montgomery and wife J.J.; sisters, Naomi Cates, Shirley Iseley and husband Ervin, Barbara Lawrence and husband Homer, and Sue Davis and husband Larry; special sister, Ida Montgomery; five grandchildren; and one expected granddaughter.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William Howard Montgomery and Edna Rice Montgomery.
The funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday in the Mc-Clure Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. Mark Mitchell. Burial will be in Bush Arbor Primitive Baptist Church cemetery.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Friday and following the burial, they will be at the home of Sue and Larry Davis, 712 S. Fifth St., Mebane.
