BURLINGTON — Jearline Webster Talley, age 72, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, Jan. 23, 2012 at her home surrounded by her family. She was the wife of the late Ralph Talmadge Talley and the daughter of the late Robert Lee Webster, Sr. and Myrtle Ann Jackson Webster.
Jearlineretiredafter40years with Kayser-Roth Hosiery. She was a longtime member of Northside Presbyterian Church where she served as President of the WIC. Jearline served in various offices at her church and was the administrator for the Sunday School Department for many years. Jearline was a volunteer for Alamance Regional Medical Center and a loving and devoted Christian wife, mother and grandmother.
Survivors include her daughter, Teresa Langone and her husband, Mike of Graham; son, Michael Talley and his wife, Michele of Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina; grandchildren, Matthew Langone, Christina Langone, Ashley Langone, Charlotte Talley, Daniel Talley, Patrick Talley, Jordan Talley and Alexandra Talley; daughterin-law, Nancy Talley Helms; sisters, Brenda York and her husband, Tommy of Mebane, Patsy Stanley and Norma Summers
both of Yanceyville. She was preceded in death by her husband, son, Kenneth Ralph Talley; parents and a brother, Robert Lee Webster, Jr.
A service to celebrate her life will be held on Thursday, January 28, 2012 at 11 a.m. at Northside Presbyterian Church by the Rev. James Mitchell and the burial will follow at Alamance Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 5 until 7 p.m. on Wednesday at Lowe Funeral Home and Crematory and other times at the home.
