Dollie King Garrison
YANCEYVILLE — Dollie King Garrison, 88, formerly of 322 East Main St., died Friday, Dec. 11, 2015, at the Brian Center of Yanceyville after a period of declining health.
She was born April 9, 1927, in Caswell County to James E. King and Minnie Oakley King. She was a tobacco farmer and worked in the textile mills. She attended Caswell County schools and loved flowers. She was a member of Beulah Baptist Church.
She is survived by two daughters, Mary Fuqua and husband Leroy of Yanceyville and Debra and special friend Rickey Webster of Yanceyville; brother Billy King and wife Lib of Burlington; two sons, Claude Garrison and Kenneth Wayne Garrison; eight grandchildren and 14 greatgrandchildren.
The graveside service will be Sunday at 2 p.m. at Bush Arbor Primitive Baptist Church conducted by the Rev. Clyde Everett. Visitation will be Saturday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Harrelson Funeral Home.

She is survived by two daughters, Mary Fuqua and husband Larry of Yanceyville and Deborah Cox of Pelham and special friend Ricky Webster of Yanceyville; brother Billy King and wife Lib of Burlington; sister Mamie Sue Harris and husband Wilbur of Mebane; two sons Claude Garrison and wife Linda of Yanceyville and Kenneth Wayne Garrison and wife Debra of Providence; eight grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren.
The graveside service will be Sunday December 13, 2015 at 2 p.m. at Bush Arbor Primitive Baptist Church cemetery conducted by the Rev. Clyde Everett.
In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her husband Claude Daniel Garrison in 1966 along with thirteen other siblings.
The family will receive friends Saturday December 12, 2015 from 6 – 8 p.m. at Harrelson Funeral Home Chapel and other times at the home of Mary Fuqua at 6757 NC 62 S.
