    BURLINGTON — Mr. Joe  B. Hall , 71, of 3538 Mine Creek Road, Burlington, died Monday, November 12, 2007, at The Hospice and Palliative Care Center of Alamance-Caswell after several years of declining health and two weeks of critical illness.
    Mr. Hall  was a native of Alamance County. He was the husband of Lois Massey Hall , who survives, and was the son of the late Burch Dewey Hall  and the late Daisy Page Hall .
    Mr. Hall  retired as co-owner of Automotive Paint Supply. He was a member of Lakeview Community Church, where he was a Deacon and served on various church committees.
    In addition to his wife, Lois, of the home, Mr. Hall  is survived by his daughter, Mrs. Rita H. Ingram and her husband, Joe , of Burlington; granddaughter, Mrs. Jessica Ingram Cates and her husband, Billy, of Burlington; grandson, Mr. Jarred Ingram of Burlington; great-grandson, Devin Cates; sister, Mrs. Carolyn Kimbro and her husband, W.M., of Yanceyville; brothers, Mr. Glenn Hall  and his wife, Sue, of Reidsville, Mr. Donald Hall and his wife, Judy, of Burlington and Mr. Gordon Hall  and his wife, Kathy, of Gibsonville.
    A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, November 16, 2007, at the Rich & Thompson Chapel in Burlington. Burial will follow in Alamance Memorial Park. Officiating will be the Rev. Reid Dickens, Pastor Darrell Massey and the Rev. Richard Myers.
    The family will receive friends at the Rich & Thompson Mortuary in Burlington from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, and at other times the family will be at the residence.
    Memorials may be made to the Lakeview Community Church Building Fund, 101 Boone Road, Burlington, N.C. 27217; and to Hospice and Palliative Care of Alamance-Caswell, 914 Chapel Hill Road, Burlington, N.C. 27215.
