Larry M. Isley


Mr. Larry M. Isley, 80, of Snow Camp passed away Monday, July 15, 2019 at the Hospice Home.
A native of Alamance County, he was the husband of the late Faye Ellington Isley and the son of John Talmadge Isley and Nina Sharpe Isley, both deceased. Mr. Isley was a veteran of the U. S. Army and a retired self-employed grading contractor. He was a member of the Alamance County Cattlemen’s Association and the Bula Masonic Lodge #409 AF & AM. He was also a member of Friendship United Methodist Church.

Survivors include two sons, John M. Isley and wife Elaine and Mark E. Isley and wife Carolyn, all of Snow Camp; two brothers, Ronnie Isley and wife Susan of Burlington and Joe Isley and wife Melba of Snow Camp; three grandchildren, Paige Isley, Danielle Doucette (Geoff) and Dylan Reavis (Emily); and three great-grandchildren, Tinsleigh Doucette, Presleigh Doucette and Blakeleigh Doucette.
The funeral service will be conducted at Friendship United Methodist Church on Wednesday, July 17, 2019 at 11:00. The family will receive friends from 10:00 until 11:00 a.m. prior to the service. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. At other times the family will be at the residence.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care of Alamance-Caswell, for the Hospice Home, 914 Chapel Hill Road, Burlington, NC 27215.
