SNOW CAMP — Mrs. Faye E. Isley, 70, of 3931 Spanish Oak Hill Road, passed away at 7:13 AM Sunday, March 17, 2013, at the Hospice & Palliative Care Home in Burlington.
A native of Alamance County, she was the wife of Larry M. Isley and daughter of the late Eugene Ellington and Lois York Ellington. Faye was a retired banker with BB&T and a member of Friendship United Methodist Church.
Faye was a loving wife, mother and grandmother to her husband, Larry M. Isley of the home; two sons, John M. Isley and wife, Elaine, Mark Isley and wife, Carolyn, all of Snow Camp; three grandchildren, Paige Isley, Danielle Reavis and Dylan Reavis; and a great-granddaughter, Tinsleigh Reavis, all of Snow Camp.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, March 19, at Friendship United Methodist Church with the Rev. Henry Swanzey officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The casket will be placed in the church one hour prior to the service.
A reception will be held in the Fellowship Hall immediately following the service. Other times the family will be at the residence.
In lieu of flowers, and in appreciation for their compassion and excellent care of Faye, the family wishes memorial contributions be made to the Hospice & Palliative Care Home of Alamance-Caswell, 918 Chapel Hill Road, Burlington, NC 27215.
