Elizabeth (Lib) Gwynn Porterfield
BURLINGTON - Mrs. Elizabeth (Lib) Gwynn Porterfield, of Burlington, passed away Thursday, November 19, 2020 at her home.
A native of Alamance County, Mrs. Porterfield was the wife of the late Claude Allen Porterfield and the daughter of the late Challie Vernon Euliss and the late Sadie Lee Rabon Euliss.
Mrs. Porterfield was a member of Faith Christian Church.
She is survived by three sons, Kenneth Howard Gwynn and his wife, Cheesie, of Myrtle Beach, SC, Larry Neal Gwynn and his wife, Kim, of Mebane and Jeffrey Allen Porterfield and his wife, Sandy, of Gibsonville; three grandchildren, Matthew Gwynn, Jennifer Gwynn and Tonya Murrell and a special friend, Mickey Renigar.
In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Porterfield was preceded in death by her sister, Margaret Euliss Steele and special friend, George Baer.
The family will be at Rich and Thompson Funeral
Service in Burlington at 11:00 am Tuesday, November 24, 2020. The funeral service will be held at noon in the Rich and Thompson Chapel. Officiating will be the Rev. Reid Dickens. Burial will be in Alamance Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, the family request that memorials be made to Faith Christian Church, P.O. Box 1731, Burlington, NC 27216.
