BURLINGTON - Irvin “Pete”’Gyrise Lowe, 71, of 2857 Durham Street Extension died Oct. 22, 1992, at his home.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Shallow Ford United Church of Christ, of which he was a member.
Burial will be in Alamance Memorial Park.
A native of Guilford County, he was retired from Engineer Plastics in Gibsonville, was a member of the Adult Fellowship Sunday School Class and was a trustee of the church.
He also was a World War II Army Air Corps veteran.
Surviving are wife, Mrs. Ora Mae Loy Lowe; daughters, Mrs. Linda Clark of Birmingham, Ala., Mrs. Cynthia Hall of Burlington; sister, Mrs. Ruby Waynick of Boyd, Texas; brother, Harvey Lowe of Gibsonville; three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.
The family will be at the funeral home 7-9 tonight, other times at the residence. Memorial contributions may be made to Shallow Ford United Church of Christ, 1263 Shallow Ford Church Road, Elon College, N.C. 27244, or to Hospice of Alamance-Caswell, 317 N.
