Iris Ann Brown Perkins 


    GRAHAM — Iris Ann Brown Perkins , 65, of 1128 E. Gilbreath St., died on Thursday, December 20, 2007, at the Hospice Home after two years of declining health.
    She was born in Guilford County, the daughter of the late Noah and Mae Crumpton Brown  and was married to Otis Eugene Perkins , who survives. Ann  worked in retail sales for most of her life but she was disabled for several years due to Multiple Sclerosis. She was an animal lover and leaves behind a dog and several cats that she loved.
    She is survived by her husband of the home and a brother and sister-in-law, Roger and Faye Brown  of Gibsonville. She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Eunice Jones and Vallie Cobb; and a brother, Willard Brown .
    The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. Walter Jones with interment to follow at Oakwood Cemetery in Mebane.
    The family will receive friends from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home, and other times at the home.
    Memorials may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care of Alamance-Caswell, 914 Chapel Hill Road, Burlington, N.C. 27215.
