Ronald Jeffrey Clapp, 52 of Burlington passed away on Tuesday May 29, 2018 at ARMC surrounded by family after several years of declining health.
Ronald was born in Alamance County on April 20, 1966 the son of late Chalmers Rankin Clapp, Jr. and the former Betty Jean Carter.
Ronald enjoyed deep sea fishing, riding his motorcycle and spending time with his son. In addition to his father, Ronald was preceded in death by a brother Randall Lynn Clapp and his step father William Barham.
Surviving in addition to his mother Betty Jean Barham and her special friend Wade Salmon are one son, Aaron Clapp; two brothers, Tim Clapp and wife Nancy and Mike Clapp and wife Debra; a step sister Kathy Barham McConnell and a step brother William Barham, II and a special friend Lisa Mabe.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 7 pm on Friday at Omega Funeral Service & Crematory chapel.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home and all other times at the home of Mr & Mrs. JC Merricks.
