Mildred Greeson Wilson
BURLINGTON — Mildred Greeson Wilson, 92, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, Feb. 18, 2015, at Alamance House. She was the wife of the late Meredith Franklin Wilson.
Mildred retired after 44 years with the Textile Sales Room and was a longtime member of St. Marks Reformed Church. She was known for her radiant smile and her pound cakes. Mildred was devoted to her family, especially her grandchildren and great- grandchildren.
She is survived by her sons, Don Wilson and wife June of Wilmington and Lee Wilson and wife Debbie of Burlington; grandchildren, Amy Frazier and husband Scott, Chris Wilson and Nik Wilson and wife Tanya; great-grandchildren, Max Frazier, Zoe Frazier and Harper Wilson; a special niece, Trudy Rumbley; and a special friend, Miss Alene, at Alamance House.
She was preceded in death by her husband; parents, Lacy Roy and Donnie Alma Isley Greeson; siblings, Fide Greeson, Roy Greeson, Jake Greeson and Edith Rumbley.
A service to celebrate her life will be conducted Saturday, Feb. 21, 2015, in the Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. Ben Bishop. A private burial will be held Monday in Alamance Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends at the home of her son, Lee Wilson, 1345 Coppergate Trail, Burlington, N.C. 27215.
