Lacy Roy Greeson
Lacy Roy Greeson, 85, of Rt. 1, Burlington, died at his home this morning at 8 o'clock following nine days of illness. A native of Guilford County. He was the son of the late L. H. and Mrs.. Elizabeth Clapp] Greeson. He was the husband of Mrs.. Donnie ISLEY Greeson of the home, who survives, and was a retired farmer. Other survivors include two daughters, Mrs.. Edith Rumbley of the home and Mrs.. Mildred Wilson of Burlington; three sons, C. Roy Greeson and P. Fide Greeson of Rt. 1, Bur- lington, and Jake J. Greeson of Rt. 3, Liberty; one brother, Elmer Greeson of Pittsboro; nine grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Final rites will be held Saturday afternoon at 3 o'clock at Brick Reformed United Church of Christ. The service will be conducted by the Rev. J. L. Leven, pastor. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The body will remain at Rich and Thompson Mortuary in Bur- lington until taken to the church 30 minutes prior to the service. Visitation will begin at the mortuary at noon Friday and the family will be there from 7 to 9 o'clock Friday night.
