   BURLINGTON — Mrs. Edith G. Rumbley, 97, of Burlington died at the Coble Health Center at Twin Lakes Community on Monday, Jan. 13, 2014, at 8:45 a.m. following declining health for years.

   A native of Guilford County, she was the wife of the late R. Blair Rumbley and the daughter of Lacy Greeson and Donnie Isley Greeson, both deceased. She was a former employee with Kayser-Roth and a member of Brick Reformed United Church of Christ.

   Survivors include a daughter, Gertrude Rumbley of Burlington and sister, Mildred Wilson of Burlington.

   She was preceded in death by three brothers and an infant sister.

   A private graveside service will be held for the family.

   Memorials may be made to Brick Reformed United Church of Christ, 3699 Brick Church Road, Burlington, NC 27215.

   Rich & Thompson Funeral and Cremation Service in Burlington is in charge of arrangements.
