Lynda Greeson Clark
Mrs. Lynda Greeson Clark, 80, of Burlington passed away at the Alamance House on Monday, January 7, 2019.
A native of Alamance County, she was the wife of the late Jerry M. Clark and the daughter of William Kelly Greeson and Lucy Huffman Greeson, both deceased. Mrs. Clark had various occupations over the years including working at Wal-Mart which she enjoyed every much. She loved sunbathing and had numerous talents which included gardening, sewing and baking.
Survivors include two daughters, Jerrlynn Burke and husband Jim of Liberty and Dawn Payne and husband James of Burlington; two sons, Christopher Kelly Clark and wife Brenda of Liberty and Scott Clark of Burlington; two brothers, Alvis Greeson and wife Vickie of Liberty and Stanley Greeson and wife Judy of Burlington; six grandchildren; thirteen greatgrandchildren; two nieces, two aunts; and many cousins. She was preceded in death by a great grandchild.
The family will receive friends at the Rich & Thompson Funeral and Cremation Service in Burlington on Friday, January 11, 2019 from 11:30 a.m. until 12:45 p.m. Other times they will be at the residence.
The funeral service will be conducted at the Rich & Thompson Chapel in Burlington on Friday, January 11, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. by Pastor John Mark Beam. Burial will follow in Lowe’s Lutheran Church Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care of Alamance-Caswell, 914 Chapel Hill Road, Burlington, NC 27215 or the Alamance House, 2766 Grand Oaks Boulevard, Burlington, NC 27215.

Jerry Clark, 80 of Gibsonville passed away on Saturday May 19, 2018 at his residence.
Jerry was born in Henry County, Virginia on on September 25, 1937 the son of the late Johnnie Chatman Clark and Viola McCormick Clark. He was employed as a printer for most of his career and worked for a time at the KW Cafeteria in the Holly Hill Mall. On April 15, 1956 he married the former Lynda Greeson who survives him.
Surviving in addition to his wife Lynda were two sons, Chris Clark and wife Brenda of Liberty and Scott Clark of Burlington; two daughters, Jerrlynn Burke and husband Jim of Liberty and Dawn Payne and husband James of Burlington; six grandchildren, Kelly Clark (Angie) of Burlington, Kristen Perry of Burlington, Heather Clark of Liberty, Jimmy Burke of of Liberty, Jacque Burke (Scott) of Burlington and Miranda Clark of Burlington and 13 great grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life Service was held at 12 noon on Wednesday in the chapel of Omega Funeral Service & Crematory. The family will received friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
