Jerry Clark, 80 of Gibsonville passed away on Saturday May 19, 2018 at his residence.
Jerry was born in Henry County, Virginia on on September 25, 1937 the son of the late Johnnie Chatman Clark and Viola McCormick Clark. He was employed as a printer for most of his career and worked for a time at the KW Cafeteria in the Holly Hill Mall. On April 15, 1956 he married the former Lynda Greeson who survives him.
Surviving in addition to his wife Lynda were two sons, Chris Clark and wife Brenda of Liberty and Scott Clark of Burlington; two daughters, Jerrlynn Burke and husband Jim of Liberty and Dawn Payne and husband James of Burlington; six grandchildren, Kelly Clark (Angie) of Burlington, Kristen Perry of Burlington, Heather Clark of Liberty, Jimmy Burke of of Liberty, Jacque Burke (Scott) of Burlington and Miranda Clark of Burlington and 13 great grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life Service was held at 12 noon on Wednesday in the chapel of Omega Funeral Service & Crematory. The family will received friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
